• We publish guides, not medical advice. Sleep products help some people and not others, and nothing here replaces a doctor.
• We don’t sell anything. Purchases happen on Amazon, brand websites or other retailers, and those companies handle your order, shipping, returns and warranty.
• Some links are affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra charge to you.
• Specs and prices change. Always confirm the details on the seller’s page before you buy.

Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of slumberaudio.com (the “Site”), which is operated by José Martínez, an individual based in Zulia, Venezuela (“Slumber Audio,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

These Terms apply together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information.

What Slumber Audio Is

Slumber Audio is an independent information and product-comparison website focused on audio and noise-control products used for sleep, such as sleep earbuds, headphones for sleeping, sleep headbands, sleep masks with built-in speakers, sleeping ear plugs and noise machines. Our pages are written for readers in the United States.

We are not a retailer and we are not a manufacturer. We don’t take orders, process payments for products, ship goods or provide customer support for any product we write about.

Who May Use the Site

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please use the Site with a parent or guardian, particularly before buying anything we link to.

You are responsible for making sure your use of the Site complies with the laws that apply to you.

How We Create Our Content

Our goal is to make comparisons that are clear and useful. To do that, we rely on manufacturers’ own product pages, publicly available information and reviewer reports. Unless a page says otherwise, our product write-ups are roundup-style summaries of that information, not the results of our own laboratory or long-term hands-on testing.

We work to keep our content accurate, but products get redesigned, discontinued and re-priced, and manufacturers update their specifications without notice. Information on the Site may be incomplete or out of date, and it may contain errors. When a brand doesn’t publish a specification, we say so or leave it out rather than guess.

Please treat the Site as a starting point for research. Check the current specifications, compatibility, return policy and warranty on the seller’s or manufacturer’s page before you buy.

Prices, Availability and Purchases

• Prices change. Any price shown on the Site reflects what a seller listed at the time we wrote the page. The price on the seller’s page at checkout is the price that applies.
• Availability changes. A product mentioned on the Site may be out of stock, sold in different variants or no longer sold at all.
• Your purchase is with the seller. When you buy through a link, your contract is with Amazon, the brand or the retailer, not with us. Orders, payment, delivery, returns, refunds and warranty claims are handled under that seller’s own terms.

Health, Sleep and Safety Information

The Site provides general information only. It isn’t medical advice, and it isn’t a diagnosis or treatment recommendation. Nothing on the Site creates a doctor–patient relationship.

• Talk to a professional about real concerns. If you have persistent trouble sleeping, loud or chronic snoring, pauses in breathing during sleep, ear pain, hearing loss, ringing in the ears or skin problems, please speak with a qualified healthcare provider.
• Keep the volume low. Listening to audio for hours at high volume can harm hearing. Keep volume at a comfortable level for sleep.
• Stay aware of your surroundings. Products that block outside sound may make it harder to hear alarms, smoke detectors, children, pets or other sounds you need to notice. Consider whether that is appropriate for your home.
• Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Fit, cleaning, charging, battery care and safe use vary by product. Stop using any product that causes pain, irritation or overheating.
• Results vary. What helps one sleeper may not help another, and we can’t promise any product will improve your sleep.

You use any product, and any suggestion on the Site, at your own risk.

Third-Party Sites and Trademarks

The Site links to websites and services that we don’t own or control. We aren’t responsible for their content, policies or practices, and a link isn’t a guarantee or endorsement of anything on the other site. Their terms and privacy policies apply once you leave the Site.

Product names, brand names, logos and images belong to their respective owners. We use them to identify and discuss products, and their use doesn’t mean the owners sponsor or endorse the Site.

Our Content and Your Use of It

Unless otherwise noted, the text, layout, design and original graphics on the Site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Third-party trademarks and product images remain the property of their owners.

You may view the Site and print or save individual pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may quote short excerpts if you credit Slumber Audio and link back to the page you’re quoting.

Beyond that, you may not copy, republish, sell, scrape or systematically download our content, or use it to build a competing product, without our written permission.

We may restrict or block access to the Site for anyone who we reasonably believe has violated these Terms.

Our Privacy Policy describes what information we collect when you use the Site and how it is used. By using the Site, you acknowledge that policy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLUMBER AUDIO AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS AND AFFILIATES WON’T BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE, OUR CONTENT, OR ANY PRODUCT OR THIRD-PARTY SITE YOU FIND THROUGH US. THIS INCLUDES ANY INJURY OR LOSS CAUSED BY A PRODUCT YOU BUY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE WON’T EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

Changes to the Site and These Terms

We may change, suspend or remove any part of the Site at any time, including products, pages and features. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the revised version on this page. If you keep using the Site after a change is posted, you accept the updated Terms. If you don’t agree with a change, please stop using the Site.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute related to the Site or these Terms will be brought in the courts of the State of Zulia, Venezuela, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts, except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of the place where you live requires otherwise.

General Terms

• Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Site.
• Severability. If a part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
• No waiver. If we don’t enforce a provision right away, we haven’t given up the right to enforce it later.
• Assignment. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms, for example if the Site is sold or reorganized. You may not transfer yours without our consent.
